🎯 Professionalism in the Virtual Classroom

A gentle reminder about attire and staying focused during lessons

Updated over 5 months ago

Dear Teachers,

Thank you for the energy, creativity, and care you bring to your lessons every day. Our students look up to you — and the atmosphere you create during class plays a big role in how they learn and engage.

That’s why we’d like to kindly remind everyone about two important aspects of professional classroom behavior: appearance and focus.

👕 Dress to Set the Right Tone

The way we dress sets expectations for how the lesson will go. It helps students feel they’re in a structured and respectful environment — even if it’s online.

Please make sure to wear smart or professional-looking clothing during lessons.

🚫 Avoid:

  • Pajamas or sleepwear

  • Tops with open shoulders or thin straps (tank tops)

  • Overly casual or homewear clothing

A good rule of thumb: if you wouldn’t wear it in a classroom full of kids in person, don’t wear it online either.

📱 Be Fully Present

We’ve also noticed some teachers occasionally checking their phones or being distracted by notifications during lessons.

Please give your students your full attention. Avoid using your phone or other devices unless they’re directly part of the lesson. This helps build trust, shows professionalism, and creates a better learning experience.

Thank you for treating each lesson with care. These small details really make a big difference — not only for the students but for the overall learning environment.

Let’s continue to build a positive and professional space together! 💜

All Right Team
